At the Mt. Airy Campus of United Lutheran Seminary, at 7301 Germantown Ave., in Philadelphia, PA, volunteers will learn how you can put these skills to work for disaster response, or with other programs like Habitat for Humanity, Appalachian Service Project, and even some projects at your own home, in partnership with Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod.
What?
- We’ll be assembling and collecting disaster kits and hygiene kits
- There will also be demonstrations on the basics of rebuilding after disasters for things like safety, and how to spackle, paint, and use power tools!
- Information will be available on how you can put these skills to work for disaster response, or with other programs like Habitat for Humanity, Appalachian Service Project, and even some projects at your own home!
