Join us this MLK Day to assemble disaster relief kits and make a lasting impact –– Learn how you can help!
Make a Difference This MLK Day of Service
On January 18, 2025, join us in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through acts of compassion and service. Lutheran Congregational Services, Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the ELCA, and United Lutheran Seminary are coming together to host a meaningful day of service—and we need your help!
This year, volunteers will assemble Women’s Hygiene Kits and Flood Cleanup Buckets to support disaster survivors in Pennsylvania. These essential kits help our neighbors maintain dignity and rebuild their lives during challenging times. Our goal is to create over 100 kits and buckets—and we can’t do it without your support.
How You Can Help
There are several ways for individuals, businesses, and organizations to get involved:
Donate
Financial contributions are the most impactful way to support this effort. Your generosity enables us to purchase the necessary supplies for our kits and buckets.
Volunteer
Join us on January 18th and contribute your time to assemble these vital resources alongside our community of volunteers.
Wishlist Contributions
Use our Amazon Wishlist to purchase items we need, including:
- 5-gallon buckets with lids
- Cleaners and soap
- Towels, sponges, and scrub brushes
- Rubber gloves, work gloves, clotheslines, and pins
