Throughout Liberty Lutheran’s family of services, our staff go above and beyond to uplift the well-being of older adults and their families– providing hope, comfort, and security to many. Our staffs’ heroic efforts help adults in their later years rediscover purpose and fulfillment through empowering opportunities. Their faithful presence alongside our residents through so many life journeys remains strong through both the highs and the lows.
2020 has been an extraordinary year. The coronavirus pandemic and the many stressors it has created are present every day. These stressors highlight the importance of what Liberty Lutheran offers to those who count on our family of services. Every day, Liberty serves as a source of hope.
As Thanksgiving approaches, there’s no better time to reflect on all that we are thankful for as Liberty employees bring graciousness and blessings to the lives of those we serve. Here are thoughts from some of our residents throughout our family of services that demonstrate the lasting impact our organization makes on so many lives.
Artman
I am thankful for the loving care and concern I receive daily from the Artman staff as well as the goodies and surprises received during the pandemic.

The Manor at York Town

Paul’s Run
I am thankful for a long term & short term memory, ears that hear, eyes that can read, hands and legs that work without pain; my new heart valve that works, my pacemaker that works, my diabetes under control, my blood pressure being under control, my retirement money that will take care of me. I am thankful for my three daughters who are the best! I am thankful for being 86 years old, born in 1934, and the joy of being a creative writer of 100 poems and stories, the good fortune to have had a wonderful wife for 58 years since 1957! I am thankful to have had a roof over my head here at Paul’s run.
