Ways to Give

If you would like to give, there are different ways that you can make a donation to Liberty Lutheran to help others in need.

Donate Online or mail a check to Liberty Lutheran, Attention Advancement, 7002 Butler Pike, Ambler, PA 19002

Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds

If you would like to make a gift of stock or securities, you can download the instructions here.

If you have not already done so, please contact the Advancement office at 267-464-7700 or at giving@libertylutheran.org to notify us that you are making a gift of stock or securities. Note: you must have held any stock being donated for at least one year to qualify for maximum tax benefits.

Payroll Deduction

Gifts can be made to Liberty Lutheran through your workplace giving campaigns such as United Way. Simply check with your human resource department for more information on payroll deduction.

Donor Advised Fund or Private Foundation

If you have a donor advised fund or private foundation, consider making a grant distribution to Liberty Lutheran or one of our family of services. All of our entities qualify as a nonprofit under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Liberty Lutheran Federal Tax ID Number is 23-3059658. If you would like to make a distribution to one of our family of services, contact us at 267-464-7700 or at giving@libertylutheran.org for the Federal Tax ID Number of the entity to which you wish to donate.

Real Estate

A gift of real estate may be a principal residence or vacation home, a farm, a commercial building, a sub-division lot or unimproved land. All gifts of real estate require prior approval by the Liberty Lutheran Foundation. Contact us at 267-464-7700 or email at giving@libertylutheran.org.

Making a Planned or Deferred Gift

Gifts that are Simple to Set Up

Name Liberty as the beneficiary or recipient of your life insurance policy, retirement account, checking/savings account, stocks or bonds. It will cost you nothing today, yet will provide significant support down the road. Contact your plan administrator and ask for instructions to change your beneficiary.

Bequest

The most common form of deferred gift to Liberty is a bequest contained in a person’s will or revocable (living) trust. Click here for details.

Gifts that Pay You Income for Life

A life income gift, such as a charitable gift annuity or a charitable remainder Uni-trust, can provide you and/or your loved ones with an income for the duration of your lives or for a specific number of years. You will receive a current income tax deduction as well. Learn more here.
